You don’t need to be a gumshoe to figure it all out

What is immersive theatre?

Immersive work takes the audience out of the typical theatre and inside the world of a piece. It’s a 360° experience where you become a part of the story. You may sometimes be in the center of the action, seated on a chaise or bathtub, or join the wallflowers on the perimeter of the room, but either way, the party will be happening all around you. You may be pulled away by a character to play a game of cards, gossip in the closet, or help the host freshen up her lipstick. The party is private and there will be no outside distractions so you can completely forget the world you just left behind.

Can I purchase cocktails on site?

Yes, you may imbibe! The Hangar bar will be open 45 minutes before show time, during intermission, and at least 30 minutes after the show is over. Signature cocktails, wine, champagne and beer will be available, and we accept cash and credit cards. The bar will not be open during the show.

If you choose to add a drink to your ticket purchase, your drink ticket may be redeemed before or after the show or at intermission in the Hangar bar. Pre-paid drink tickets will be valid for one beverage each at the Hangar bar only at your ticketed performance.

Can I purchase food on-site?

Stanley Marketplace has restaurants of all kinds to enjoy before the show. Stop by early and try Stanley Beer Hall, Comida Cantina, Sazza Pizza, Annette, Denver Biscuit Company and more!

I am under 21. Can I see the show?

No. All of our performances are strictly 21+.

My child is under 21. Can they attend if I accompany them?

The party is a wild one, including adult themes, nudity and alcoholic beverages. Audiences under 21 are not permitted to attend any performance, under any circumstances.

Where are my tickets?

You will receive an auto-generated email from the DCPA including your tickets in a PDF attachment. We highly encourage you to print your tickets in advance, especially if you purchased pre-paid drink tickets, which will expedite your entry and bar experience. You may also show your tickets electronically on a smartphone for entry.

Every performance has 16 spots for a VIP experience that includes reserved premium seating and a glass of champagne before the show, first access into the apartment, an exclusive interaction with Queenie during the show, and other special surprises. VIP tickets range from $65-110 based on date and availability.

Are accessible performances available?

This experience is wheelchair accessible, with room for five devices per performance. Enhanced Assistive Listening Devices are available at all performances. Please see our staff when you arrive. ASL and audio description services will be made available by request. To request these or other ADA services, please contact Patron Services at least 14 days prior to the performance you wish to attend.

I want to purchase tickets as a gift but I want the recipient to be able to choose the date of the show. How should I do it?

Your best bet is to surprise them with a gift certificate, then have them pick an available date on our website and purchase the tickets for them. Availability is not guaranteed and these shows are expected to sell out quickly – please plan ahead!

I can’t attend the show on my ticket date. Can I exchange my tickets for a different date?

If your ticket date is more than 14 days away, you may call the box office to inquire about inventory. If tickets are available for another show, the exchange is subject to a ticket fee and the difference in pricing (should there be any).  Unfortunately, due to demand, if your ticket date is less than 14 days away, we are unable to exchange the tickets.

Can I get a refund?

All orders are final and all tickets are non-refundable.

I don’t consume alcohol. Is there anything I should avoid drinking at the show?

Depending on where your night takes you, characters might offer you a drink during the party. Of course the bathtub gin is alcoholic, so please decline if you do not want to drink alcohol.
